I'm in the midst of writing a 10 page mid-term for my advertising 497 class, it's due Thursday, so at least I'm not waiting until the absolute last minute. The assignment is to write a 10 page paper on creativity. That's it. It can be anything to do with creativity, but that's the topic. It might seem easy, but trying to think of something to write about that takes up 10 pages, single spaced, isn't overly easy. On top of that, we are graded on our own creativity, our coherent content, the neatness and the risk we take in creating the paper. That being said, we are allowed and in fact encouraged to make it as creative in appearance and general presentation as we can. Drawings on the pages, quotes, whatever. Now I initially thought that would make it easier, less to write perhaps. Turns out that the creative process itself takes quite awhile, both in terms of ideation and actual creation of the product. Oh well.
