Marathon runners and triathletes typically have resting heart rates of 40 to 50 which would indicate the efficiency of the heart muscle and the smooth transfer of oxygen to the blood. Well it's a good thing I'm not a mouse, I'd be dead! And for your information my little asian friend, I had blood work done and my salt intake doesn't appear to ahve affected my body that greatly, thank-you.
